DIY TOMS Shoes Repair
Here is a little ol’ tutorial to repair your old TOMS shoes.
1. Get the goods. You will need fabric adhesive sheets, heavy-duty fabric (think drapery fabric), and your worn-out TOMS.
2. Cover the front panel of your TOMS with the fabric adhesive. The adhesive sheets I used were two sided, so it was easy to cover the toe box and trim the excess. You will need to use part of the excess adhesive to cover the entire front panel.
3. Trim a triangle of fabric, enough to cover the entire toe box. Apply the fabric, beginning at the sides and working your way to the front. When you get to the front, pleat the fabric and secure with a small square of the adhesive sheet. Put on your shoe and press fabric firmly.
4. Ta-da!
Daily Find: Burlap Coffee Bags
Daily Find: Burlap Coffee Sacks
We went to one of our favorite local coffee shops for breakfast this morning and I left with an armful of these gems. Oh happy day!
I have been looking for a local shop that sells their burlap coffee sacks for quite some time now. Typically they should not be so hard to find, unless you live in Park City where Starbucks prevails as the coffee king. I love my Starbucks, but just saying.
Anyways, I’ve slowly been collecting burlap coffee bags from all over for a variety of craft projects that have been on my mind. Let the DIYing begin! Many, many pins and posts to follow.
